East Reservoir Neighbourhood Renewal Steering Committee
The East Reservoir Neighbourhood Renewal Steering Committee brings residents, governments and agencies together to prioritise the issues raised by the community. The Steering Committee can then make decisions about how to respond to the community needs and develop the Community Action Plan.
The Steering Committee have completed a Community Action Plan which gives the community a plan for what it hopes to achieve.
The Steering Committee decides what priorities should be the focus of Neighbourhood Renewal, their ideas are then looked at by the various Action Groups, who create projects and apply for funding to improve the community.
The Steering Committee currently includes:
Darebin City Council
Department of Human Services
Melbourne Citymission
Darebin Community Health
Reservoir East Primary School
Reservoir Neighbourhood House
and residents of the Neighbourhood Renewal area who have volnteered their time and experience to the Committee.
